What does Binance charge? Reading the fee table from Brazil

Updated Sep 18, 2026Reviewed by Darren TsangFacts as of Sep 1, 2026
Quick answer

Binance's published spot schedule charges 0.100% for makers and 0.100% for takers at the entry level, which is one real on a 1,000 real purchase. That number comes from the global schedule, with tiers measured in US dollars, not from a Brazilian fee table. What you really pay also depends on the price shown at confirmation and on the cost of moving reais back out.

A 1,000 real purchase costs one real in fees

The published fee schedule lists 0.100% maker and 0.100% taker at the Regular User level. On a 1,000 real purchase that works out to:

  • one real at the full rate;
  • 0.75 reais if you pay the fee in BNB and take the 25% discount.

That figure covers the trading commission and nothing else. It excludes the spread built into the price on your confirmation screen, it excludes the cost of withdrawing reais later, and it stops being true when your fee level changes. We did not verify the final price shown inside the app for a BRL order, so treat 0.1% as a floor rather than a total.

Why 0.1% is not a Brazilian rate

The tiers in that table are measured in dollars: the Regular User level applies below one million US dollars of 30-day volume. This is Binance's global schedule, which is not automatically inherited by local entities of the brand. We did not find a Brazil-specific trading fee schedule.

That matters in two practical ways. Comparing against a Brazilian exchange only works with both screens open at the same moment. And if the entity that serves you in Brazil changes, your price can change without the global table changing at all. To see where that 0.1% sits among the exchanges we cover, see which crypto exchange charges the lowest fees in Brazil.

Maker or taker: which one applies to you

Binance defines a maker as an order that adds liquidity to the book and a taker as an order that removes liquidity by matching an existing order immediately. A market order is always a taker.

At the entry level the distinction does not change your bill, because both sides cost 0.100%. It starts to matter in the VIP levels, where the maker fee falls before the taker fee does. If you trade occasionally, ignore the label and read the final price.

What it costs to move reais in and out

The official BRL transfer FAQ publishes a deposit and withdrawal fee table. For personal accounts the deposit is listed as free and the withdrawal costs 3.50 reais, with an explicit note that withdrawal fees are subject to change.

Binance itself recommends Pix as the preferred deposit channel, because TED transfers clear only during bank business hours. Two practical rules appear in its Pix purchase guide: the deposit must come from an account tied to your own CPF, and the transfer has to be completed within 24 hours or the order is cancelled.

For a 1,000 real purchase you intend to hold, the relevant cost is one real. For money that comes in and goes out in the same month, add the 3.50 real withdrawal: total cost 4.50 reais, or 0.45% of the amount.

Checklist before you confirm

  1. Check the fee level applied to your account before sending the order, not after.
  2. Compare the total on the confirmation screen against the market quote to see the spread.
  3. Decide whether to pay the fee in BNB, remembering that it means holding a BNB balance.
  4. Make sure the funding bank account is registered under your own CPF.
  5. Include the 3.50 real withdrawal if the money is leaving soon.
  6. If you are comparing against a Brazilian exchange, quote both at the same time.

That is the trading line only. Deposit/withdraw rails, any convert, and VIP discounts are separate — we do not invent unpublished spread here.

FAQ

Does Binance charge for BRL deposits? The published table shows a free deposit for personal accounts. The withdrawal is the side that carries a flat 3.50 real cost.

Is paying the fee in BNB worth it? The discount is 25%, which takes 0.100% down to 0.07500%. On 1,000 reais that saves 0.25 reais per order: useful if you trade often, close to irrelevant for one purchase.

Is there a Brazil-only fee table? We did not verify one. The tiers are published in dollars and belong to the global schedule.

Why is there no signup link on this page? Because we have not confirmed a named Banco Central authorisation or verified commercial terms for Brazil. Our Binance coverage here is editorial only.

Verdict

For a small purchase Binance is cheap on the part it publishes: one real of fees on 1,000 reais, or 0.75 reais paying in BNB. The thing to watch is not the percentage but its scope. The number comes from the global, dollar-denominated table, and your real cost includes the spread of the moment plus 3.50 reais to take the money out. Compare with the confirmation screen open, not with the table.
