1,000 reais on the order book: 1 real, or 80 centavos
OKX's fee page opens on the regular user tier — under 100,000 dollars in assets or under 1,000,000 dollars traded in 30 days. That is where nearly everyone sits. The rate there is 0.08% maker and 0.10% taker.
Applied to your 1,000 real order:
- a market order that fills immediately: 0.10%, or 1 real;
- a limit order that waits on the book: 0.08%, or 80 centavos.
Twenty centavos separates them. Small in absolute terms, but it is a fifth of the fee, and the only thing it costs you is patience. Your tier is recalculated from deposited assets or 30-day volume, and today's level sets tomorrow's trading fee.
It helps to know how the charge lands, because it is not a debit in reais. OKX defines the fee as the rate applied to the amount of crypto received when the order fills. Its own example: buy 1 BTC at market as a taker, pay 0.1%, keep 0.999 BTC. You never see a fee line — you see slightly less coin.
Not every pair costs the same
The global table OKX put live on 25 November 2025 sorts the spot market into groups. For a regular user the three main groups of that table all charge the same 0.08% and 0.10%.
Two exceptions do:
- special-rule pairs charge a regular user 0.15% on the taker side, half again the standard rate — 1.50 reais per 1,000;
- zero-fee pairs charge nothing. The list is short and entirely stablecoins: DAI-USDT, PYUSD-USDT, USDC-USDT, USDG-USDT and USDT-USD.
If your route involves converting between stablecoins before buying something else, that second line removes a whole leg of fees.
One important limit to what we verified: this is the global table, and we did not verify a separate schedule for pairs traded in reais. Since OKX warns that fees vary by region, open the order screen for the exact pair you plan to use and read the percentage there. Our lowest-fees comparison shows how the eight exchanges' published schedules stack up, including when the pair is in reais.

Pix: instant, 5 real minimum, undisclosed cost
BRL deposits at OKX go through Pix directly, not through P2P. You transfer to the CNPJ of OKX Servicos Digitais Ltda, the Brazilian entity named in the deposit instructions, and the money lands within minutes. The minimum is 5 reais, and anything smaller is returned. On the withdrawal side the minimum is also 5 reais and Pix is also instant.
What OKX does not publish is the price. Limits, fees and processing times, the company says, appear on the payment method itself inside your account. We did not verify that figure, because it does not exist outside the logged-in area.
What you can know in advance is the shape of the charge, and it matters. OKX explains on its cash withdrawal fees page that the fee can be a percentage of the amount withdrawn, and that it is deducted from the amount withdrawn. In plain terms: ask for 1,000 reais and less than 1,000 reais reaches your bank. Request the gross figure, not the net one you want to receive.

Checklist before you confirm
- Use a limit order when you can wait: 0.08% instead of 0.10%.
- Check whether your pair sits in the standard group or the special-rule group at 0.15%.
- If you are only swapping stablecoins, check the zero-fee list before taking another route.
- Read the fee on the Pix payment-method screen, going in and coming out.
- On the withdrawal preview, check the net amount, because the fee comes out of what you asked for.
- Remember the trading fee is taken in crypto: check the quantity received, not just the amount spent.
R$ worked example — R$1.000 spot (regular-user global)
OKX published regular-user global spot: 0.08% maker / 0.10% taker. Pix deposit minimum in dated notes: R$5 (named CNPJ recipient when published):
| Order | Published rate | Approx. on R$1.000 |
|---|---|---|
| Market (taker) | 0.10% | ≈ R$1.00 |
| Resting (maker) | 0.08% | ≈ R$0.80 |

FAQ
What is OKX's fee in Brazil? The one we verified is global: 0.10% taker and 0.08% maker for a regular user. OKX itself notes fees may vary by region and by pair, so confirm the number inside your account before trading.
What does Pix cost on OKX? The company does not publish it. The amount appears when you select the method on a deposit, and on the preview screen for a withdrawal.
Can I pay less than 0.08%? Only by moving up a tier, which takes balances or volume measured in dollars. At the top tiers the maker fee reaches zero and then turns into a rebate.
Why is there no signup link on this page? Because we have not confirmed a named Banco Central authorisation or verified commercial terms for Brazil. Our OKX coverage here is editorial only.
Verdict
OKX's global trading table is among the cheapest of the exchanges we cover: 1 real per 1,000 at market, 80 centavos if you rest on the book. The cash-in route is good too — direct Pix, instant, from 5 reais, to a named Brazilian entity. There are two blind spots: the price of the Pix route, which OKX only reveals inside the account, and the rate on the exact pair you will trade, which can vary by region. Make one small deposit first and read both numbers before moving real money.
