Mercado Bitcoin's official fee page separates the two routes.
On the Classica and Pro order book, the entry tier covers 30-day volume from zero to 10,000 reais and charges 0.30% to the order that rests and waits (the Executada column, the maker fee) and 0.70% to the order that executes against it (the Executora column, the taker fee). On 1,000 reais that is 3 or 7 reais.
On the quick route, the fee varies with the size of the transaction, between 0.7% and 3%. A 1,000 real purchase sits exactly on a band boundary: from 100 to 1,000 reais the table charges between 1% and 2%, and from 1,000 to 10,000 reais it charges below 1%. In money, between 10 and 20 reais.
There is more. Mercado Bitcoin states that the quick-route price can include a spread that varies with market conditions and reaches 2%. On 1,000 reais that is up to another 20 reais that never appears as a fee. In the worst case, a purchase that would cost 7 reais on the book costs about 40.
We did not verify the exact rate applied to a specific order, because Mercado Bitcoin calculates that price at transaction time. What is solid is the order of magnitude between the two routes.
The order-book table improves as you trade
The Classica and Pro table is progressive: it falls with 30-day traded volume, from 0.7% down to 0.015%. For most people that is theoretical, because the cheapest bands need millions of reais in volume. The real saving is moving from the quick route to the book, not climbing tiers.
Two exemptions also change the maths. Crypto-to-crypto pairs such as BTC-USDT trade with no fee at all. And a new account gets 48 hours of zero-fee trading, which is enough to test the platform before committing.
Getting reais in and out is free
Here Mercado Bitcoin is straightforward: the account table shows a zero fee for both BRL deposits and BRL withdrawals, with a 1 real minimum on each side. For a verified account, the published withdrawal ceiling is 50,000 reais every 24 hours.
There is also the Compre com Pix route, where you send a Pix to the key deposito@mb.com.br and name the asset in the description. It is convenient, but the pricing follows the quick-trade logic: calculated at the moment, with a possible spread. If cost is what matters, deposit first and buy on the book afterwards.
One easy cost to forget: the 3.90 real monthly inactivity fee, charged only when an account meets both conditions Mercado Bitcoin lists on that page. The terms of use confirm that registration is free and name Mercado Bitcoin Servicos Digitais Ltda, CNPJ 18.213.434/0001-35, as the contracting company.
