Fees: the table and the warning attached to it
Bybit's help centre lists a 0.1% maker fee and a 0.1% taker fee on spot trading for non-VIP users. Unremarkable for a global exchange.
The part that matters sits on the fee structure page: Bybit says those are base rates and that the actual rate can vary by region, pointing users to their own fee-rate page after identity verification. VIP levels are also recalculated daily.
So the table is useful for comparing platforms and useless for predicting your bill. The number that counts is the one inside your account. The full cost breakdown lives in Bybit fees in Brazil.
Reais, Pix and what depends on your region
Our canonical record names Bybit Sociedade Prestadora de Servicos de Ativos Virtuais Ltda. as the entity behind real-denominated bank and QR-code services. The recorded scope is explicit: it covers moving money, and it is not evidence of Central Bank authorisation for virtual-asset services.
Bybit also states that the cost of a local-currency deposit depends on the currency and payment method and that available methods change with the user's country or region of residence. As of 25 August 2026, we found no Bybit page listing exact real-denominated deposit and withdrawal charges, so confirm the figure on screen before you transfer.

The Brazilian rule, in one sentence
Law 14.478 requires prior authorisation from a federal public administration body for anyone providing virtual-asset services in Brazil, and a 2023 decree gave the Banco Central do Brasil the power to regulate, authorise and supervise those firms.
Registering a Brazilian company to run payments is a genuine step, and more than several competitors show. It is not the same step. Until the authorisation is confirmed, the platform stays editorial in our records, with no commercial call to action. The criteria we apply to every exchange are in what makes a crypto exchange trustworthy in Brazil.
Checklist before you fund an account
- Check your account terms for which entity receives your reais and which one provides the trading service.
- Open your own fee-rate page after identity verification and note the real percentage.
- Confirm the charge, timing and limits on the deposit confirmation screen, not the general table.
- Make a small real-denominated withdrawal before moving a meaningful amount.
- Turn on two-factor authentication and review active sessions.
- Verify that the specific product you want is available to residents of Brazil.
Verify in 5 minutes (do this yourself)
- Open fee table — published non-VIP spot 0.1% / 0.1% (crypto↔crypto); note fiat table may differ.
- Reserves — confirm Bybit’s proof-of-reserves flow for your account.
- Named BR company — find the Brazilian company handling BRL bank/QR transfers in the live docs.
- BCB gap — recorded scope is not evidence of VASP authorisation as a virtual-asset service provider.
- Decision rule — use only if you accept checkable fees/reserves and an unverified local stamp.
FAQ
Does Bybit have a registered Brazilian company? Our canonical record names a Brazilian entity for real-denominated services. Its recorded scope is fiat movement, not Central Bank authorisation for virtual assets.
Will I actually pay 0.1%? Possibly not. Bybit warns the effective rate varies by region and tells users to check their own fee page. Treat 0.1% as a comparison benchmark.
Can I deposit with Pix? The canonical record describes real-denominated bank and QR-code services. Because methods change by region, confirm what your own account offers before relying on it.
Do you earn a commission if I sign up? Not from this page. Bybit is editorial only in our records, so there is no referral link.
Verdict
Bybit shows more local structure than most global exchanges: a named Brazilian company for reais, and a fee table published with an honest warning that rates vary by region.
The missing piece is regulatory. Without confirmed Central Bank authorisation for virtual-asset services, this is a global option with local rails rather than a financial service authorised in Brazil. Compare it against the alternatives or see which exchange wins each use case before deciding where to keep a balance.
What “trustworthy” means here (and what it does not)
| Signal we can show | Signal we refuse to invent |
|---|---|
| Published fee table (0.1%/0.1% crypto↔crypto non-VIP) | A Central Bank VASP licence we have not confirmed |
| Named company for BRL bank/QR transfers | That the transfer company equals full VASP authorisation |
| Proof-of-reserves programme you can open | That PoR covers every Brazilian product line without checking |
